How to Win at Craps
Objective of the Game:
Craps is a dice game and is said to date back to the Romans but
has been made famous in the Casinos of Las Vegas. The Craps
table is usually the most exciting table in the house with
players taking an active role in the game and adding to the
atmosphere by cheering and commenting on the game.
"Snake Eyes!" Craps is a game of chance and the objective is to
predict the outcome of the roll of the dice. The game can seem
fairly complex but offers up a captivating experience once you
have learnt the ropes.
The game uses two identical dice and is based on how often seven
as the total of the two dice comes up and how the other numbers
compare with it.
How to Play
The game can look complicated but it is possible to learn just a
few of the betting options to begin playing.
The opposing faces of each die always total seven (the one is
always opposite the six, the two opposite the five and so on).
You have six numbers on each die and so a pair of dice will give
you 36 different combinations. Craps is based on how often these
different combinations appear. |
Some of the terminology used in Craps:
Naturals - The total of the two dice adds up to 7 or 11
Craps - The total of the two dice adds up to 2, 3, or 12
Point - The total of the two dice adds up to 4, 5, 6, 8,
9, or 10
Snake Eyes - 1's rolled on both dice
The Shooter - you, the player
Come out roll - The first roll of the dice
To get started we can look at the most popular (and profitable)
bet on the Craps table: the pass line wager.
You toss the dice with three possible outcomes - a Natural, a
Point or a Craps (see above).
If you roll a Natural (7 or 11) before the Point is established,
a pass line bet is won.
If you roll a Craps (2,3 or 12), the pass line bet is lost.
If you roll a Point (4,5,6,8,9 or 10) you must roll that number
again, before another seven is rolled to win. |
How to Play Keno
Objective of the Game
Keno uses a large board marked with the numbers 1 to 80. In a
basket are balls also numbered 1 to 80. Twenty balls are drawn
at random.
The objective is to predict the numbers of the twenty balls
drawn. You may choose to bet on up to fifteen of the eighty
numbers on the board in one play.
How to Play
To play a game of Keno:
Select your chip size
Select your numbers from the Keno board by left-clicking the
number to highlight it. To de-select a number, left-click it
again
You can select between 1 and 15 numbers. The payout for hitting
a certain number of selected spots during the game is shown on
the board to the left of the Keno table
Select Play to start the game
As numbers are drawn they are highlighted on the Keno board. A
selected number changes colour when it is matched with a drawn
number. When all twenty numbers are drawn, you will be paid out
according to the number of matches made.
You can then start a new game. Select Play to use the same
numbers again, or Clear to select new numbers for the next game.
